We teach our patient’s special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. Tool Assisted Myofascial Therapy: The use of a specialized stainless steel instrument to identify and treat any myofascial structures. This approach can offer dramatic improvement in a variety of soft tissue injuries that were unresponsive to other forms of therapies.
Ice: The use of ice during the initial stages of an injury promotes the contraction of blood vessels, thereby reducing swelling and bleeding from the injury. It can also decrease inflammation and to a lesser extent muscle spasm.
Interferential Stimulation: The use of a type of electric muscle stimulation to produce natural body opiate-like substances to significantly reduce feelings of pain.
Galvanic Muscle Stimulation: A form of electrical muscle stimulation that allows the muscles to relax and thereby control painful muscle spasms.
